What could the relationship be between Patty, an "ugly duck" from Argentina,  with Dimitris Skarmoutsos, a "brutal" chef from Athens? What could the relationship be between a singing and dancing teenager, with a chef who has studied in the U.S. and cooks Cretan specialities? Well, they' re both TV IDOLS and each one of them, in her or his individual manner, has started a small "TV-revolution"! They have both shattered the norm of a successful TV image and then put the pieces back together in a new, different way... the one familiarized a conservative audience with tattoos, and the other offered teenagers with pickels and braces new spectacular prospects.

Now granny isn't afraid anymore when a guy like Skarmoutsos is standing behind her in the line in front of the bank cashier and the 16-year old wannabe lover-boy might eventually set his eyes on the nerdy Patty-look-alike in the front desk. All this shows that alternative flowers can also blossom even on very conservative soil, as the one that covers the TV landscape
